Jock Studio Demo 2 – Alpha Test Available Now!

Olympians, we have amazing news – the Jock Studio Demo 2 Beta version has been sent via email to ALL Kickstarter Backers entitled to a digital copy of Jock Studio, as well as anyone who has pre-ordered the game on our website or Itch.io! Please check your emails for your download links, where you can access the following:

• PC Download Link
• Mac Download Link
• Steam Playtest Access Key

Now, let’s get into the specifics of what’s inside the demo…

Why Beta Version?

First up, let’s talk about why the game is in an ‘Beta’ state! Jock Studio, unlike our previous titles, is a Dating Simulator, and because of this, features a ton of exciting and fun new mechanics, like minigames, free time around the campus, performance stats system, and much more! Our team is extremely excited to be tackling these mechanics, but as everyone can imagine, they require a ton of development time to be made from scratch by our talented programming team, and may be prone to issues.

With that in mind, we’ve decided to release this Demo 2 Beta state, where we can expect there to be several glitches and bugs present in our features, but that’s okay! We want to have you, our fanbase, assist us in finding these issues, so that we can ensure they’re properly resolved in time for the full game!

Not only that, but this Beta Release serves as a playtest for a typical week of in-game playtime, so we’d love to hear your thoughts on the mechanics concepts as well, and anything we can do to improve the experience in the full game! We look forward to your feedback!

Installation Instructions

Next, let’s talk about how to install the demo – if you’re on a PC or Mac download, it’s very simple! Just extract the demo, and run the game, and you should be up and running!

If you wish to play on Steam, however, there are a few extra steps to take! We’ll highlight these below, please follow these steps to get the Jock Studio Demo 2 Beta running on your steam account:

• Open the link provided in your download links email, and enter the email address you used to back Kickstarter/PledgeManager or pre-order the game.
• You will then receive a second email containing a steam playtest key and a link you can click to directly activate the playtest on your account!
• Alternatively to the link above, open the Steam client and log into your account.
• Click on Games in the top menu and select Activate a Product on Steam.
• Enter the key provided in the email, and the game will be added to your library.

That should cover all three forms of the game for now, but if you have specific questions, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll support as best as we can!

Please note – Jock Studio Demo 2 Beta is currently only available in PC, Mac and Steam (PC & Mac) versions. Linux and potentially Android versions will be tested and potentially released in 2025. Thank you for understanding!

Demo 2.0 Content

Finally, let’s talk about the good stuff – what’s inside the Demo! Like we’ve mentioned in several of our previous posts, Jock Studio Demo 2 Beta features a demo-exclusive* week of gameplay, where you take control of Ace’s decisions as he prepares for the biggest moment of his life so far – his first filming session with one of the Jocks!

Special Note* – While Demo 2’s story is exclusive to the demo, some scenarios will be present in the main game as well, although altered to fit the main story.

Explore the world of Jock Studio by traversing Olympus University, visiting locations and hanging out with the Jocks to earn their affection. But be careful to manage your resources wisely, especially your time and energy, so you don’t miss out on anything exciting! Resources aren’t your only tool for surviving college, however – gain items, work on your grades and pump up your stats to ensure you have the best college experience possible!

Speaking of stats, you can spend the week getting ready for the film by participating in club activities, such as working out or shooting sexy photos. Keep track of all your gains with your Oracle Phone, a useful tool for tracking everything to do with your daily life, including schedules, contacts, academics and more!

Then, all the activities conclude at the end of the week where you’ll take control of Ace & the Jock’s films, guiding their actions and maybe even unlocking a special surprise…

We won’t say any more, as we don’t want to spoil the Demo’s story for everyone, but we’re sure that to see everything, you’ll have to play multiple times! Enjoy everything Olympus University has to offer, Olympians!
